Best way to swap out upper radiator hose??

I'm replacing my upper radiator hose (the big one) with a blue, silicone SU upper radiator hose, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I'm about to finish my meth install, but before I do, I want to put that new radiator hose in, just in case there's a spill. What's the best way to do this while minimizing (or better yet eliminating) any spill? I have to take my sf out at a minimum, but I may take the TIP out as well, as I have to install something back there anyways.

Looking for some spill free tips!

TIA

general stuff-

-up on to ramps so the rad cap is the highest point- no air bubbles in the system!
-drain some fluid from the drain valve at bottom of rad to minimize mess
-old towel under hose since there will be some drainage
-swap hose & dbl check clamps, then check the clamps again.....
-top off fluid & run motor for a few with rad cap off to circ air out of system

> Coolant
'06 MS6 Manual - 8.5 us qts (2.25 us gallons)
Type- Mazda FL22
Mazda OEM - part# 0000-77-508E-20

It seems that only mazda has coolant called "FL22"
Whatever, per their own service bulletin-
"FL22 coolant is compatible with current (Green) ethylene glycol coolant."
Bulletin No: 01-033/07

Thanks bro. Yeah, there's only fluid in the reserve as it is, so hopefully I wont' have to drain too much. My jacks are far away, so I may just park on a steep hill. Are you serious about that coolant business? I was just going to put in some 50/50 mix... sounds like that should work fine as it's regular green coolant.
