Towing a Speed6 the wrong way?

Today I saw a tow truck down 422 (PA) towing a black speed6 with its front wheels on the pavement. I don't think this is the way to do it, and the car will be damaged (as most AWD cars would be). Is this right?

If it's in neutral and parking brake is off then the wheels are free to spin regardless of fwd, rwd, or awd...to the best of my knowledge.

Really? I thought neutral would free the drivetrain up. Guess I was wrong.

I agree with Darren. Sounds like the tow guy didn't give a crap and just needed to get the car.

everything ive known and been told was any AWD vehicle should be towed only by a flat bet. when i had my kia break down, and they showed up with a basic truck, i wouldnt let them touch the kia till they got a flat bed out there. no way i was gonna risk it.

sounds like the owner was too stupid too watch. i really dont blame the tow truck driver since the vast majority of 6's are fwd, and alot of people dont even know the speed exist.

Even if the towtruck drive thought it was a regular 6, shouldn't be towed with front wheels on the ground, the fact that it was probably makes it a "snatch and grab" repo.
Repo guys pulled it from it parking spot by the ass end.

FWD, towed with front off ground. RWD towed with rear off the ground. AWD towed by flatbed.

Just because I am picky, if I need a tow, I have always requested a flatbed regardless with any car I have ever had (havent had to have the 6 towed before)

The guy who towed my car out of the seacan asked me why I wanted a flat bed. When I told him it was AWD, he asked me if that was aftermarket.

Just goes to show you, hardly anyone knows anything about our cars.
